Clairfield International, Rand Merchant Bank announce M&A advisory partnership

 

Clairfield International and Rand Merchant Bank (RMB) have formally announced their M&A Clairfield International and Rand Merchant Bankextending across 32 countries. Clairfield International, a prominent Europe-based global Clairfield International and Rand Merchant Bank and RMB, a division of FirstRand Bank Limited, the largest financial services group in Africa, are pleased to solidify their collaboration. This strategic alliance signifies the commitment of both entities to global expansion and the provision of high-quality corporate finance advisory services.

Under this partnership, RMB will serve as the conduit for Clairfield clients into South Africa, Nigeria, and the broader sub-Saharan African market. In turn, Clairfield will facilitate RMB’s access to Europe, the Americas, and the Asia-Pacific region. Building on Clairfield’s prior successful collaboration with Yamada Consulting in 2023 covering Japan and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, this new venture into sub-Saharan Africa further enhances their coverage for midmarket corporate, private equity, and family business clients worldwide.
