General qualifications
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Organizational Psychology.
Certifications: Certification such as CIPM or CIPD is highly desired.
Work Experience
Typically 5 to 10+ years of HR experience, with specific tenures as an HRBP or HR Manager in heavy industry, engineering, or global construction.
Familiarity with international labour standards, union negotiations, local labour laws (e.g., Nigerian labour laws if operating in Lekki / Nigeria), and subcontractor compliance.
Forecasting talent needs for multi-year, large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring the right mix of engineers and skilled labourers are available at every project phase.
Using HR analytics to track turnover, optimize project staffing costs, and apply project management principles to people initiatives, and any other duties.
