EXMAN announces July 17 for 2025 Brand Experience Summit, AGM, and Awards
The Experiential Marketers Association of Nigeria (EXMAN) is gearing up for a landmark event as it prepares to host its 2025 IiI (AGM), and EXMAN Awards on July 17. The details were unveiled at a recent press briefing in Lagos, signaling a bold step toward redefining experiential marketing practices across the continent.
In her welcome address, EXMAN President Mrs. Tolulope Apinke Medebem reaffirmed the association’s focus on driving innovation and expanding the boundaries of the industry. “This year’s summit theme, ‘Personalization at Scale: From Insights to Impact in a Data-Driven, Immersive World,’ is both timely and transformational,” she stated. “As we delve into AI, automation, and analytics, our core challenge remains: how do we scale intimacy without losing authenticity?”
The summit is scheduled to be held at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Ikeja, Lagos, and will commence at 10:00 AM with a major presentation by Dr. Uchenna Uzo of Lagos Business School. He will unveil the institution’s 2024/2025 Industry Report on Experiential Marketing Trends and Consumer Behavior—an in-depth analysis built on real market data, academic research, and direct industry input.
A strong lineup of speakers will headline the event. Among them is Mrs. Victoria Ajayi, Group Managing Director of TVC Communications, who will address “Unpacking the Role of AI in Reshaping Consumer Experiences and Enabling Personalization at Scale.” Also speaking is Mr. Feyi Olubodun, Founder of Open Squares Africa, whose presentation will focus on “The Intersection of Data and Storytelling: How Brands Can Leverage Insights to Craft Impactful Narratives.”
These keynote speeches will be complemented by expert-led panels covering themes such as “Data-Driven Creativity” and “Designing for Emotion, Precision & Personalization.” These sessions will showcase real-life case studies and emerging industry innovations.
The summit will also spotlight emerging talent through the Student Innovation Challenge. University students, having completed a rigorous mentorship boot camp, will pitch fresh, disruptive marketing ideas—highlighting the next generation of marketing professionals in Nigeria.
Attendees will also engage in two specialized breakout sessions: The Power of Data: Personalization, Privacy & Purpose and Pixels & Presence: Blending AI & Physical Brand Worlds. These segments are designed to provide deeper insight into key facets of marketing’s future.
Running alongside the summit, EXMAN’s AGM and Awards—held under the theme “Building Bridges and Strengthening Bonds”—will emphasize unity, collaboration, and ethical standards in the industry. Chair of the AGM & Awards, Agnes Ailuelohia, highlighted the event’s broader purpose: “Beyond awards, this is about recognizing strategic thinking, ethical execution, and cultural relevance. We’re welcoming new agencies into the fold, strengthening our collective voice.”
Planning Committee Chairman for the BEX Summit 2025, Mustapha Owolabi, emphasized the event’s collaborative spirit: “In today’s marketing landscape, staying personal at scale while maintaining human connection is the challenge we aim to address.”
Mrs. Medebem concluded with a rallying call, inviting agencies yet to join EXMAN to take part in shaping the continent’s experiential marketing future. “Together, we are stronger. Together, we can professionalize, protect, and promote our industry for the long term,” she affirmed.
With a comprehensive agenda designed to inspire, educate, and unite professionals, EXMAN’s 2025 gathering is poised to become a cornerstone event for the growth and evolution of experiential marketing in Nigeria and across Africa.
