Why MultiChoice increased DStv, GOtv packages again

MultiChoice, a leading pay tv company in Africa has made upward adjustment of its DStv and GOtv packages effective from March 1st, 2025.

In a press release signed by MultiChoice chief executive officer, John Ugbe, the payTV company said, the new adjustment is due to prevalent economic factor from 2024 leading to increase in operational cost.

“We have unavoidably had to adjust the price of our DStv and GOtv subscription packages. We understand the impact this change may have on our value partners, and we have only taken this step after careful consideration and in-depth analysis.

“It has always been our mission to offer the best entertainment to our esteemed customers and we are committed to continue delivering high quality content and unparalleled service to our viewers across Nigeria. So, as from Saturday, March 1, 2025, the price adjustment will take effect as follows.” The company said.

The company thanked her esteemed customers for their continued partnership and support, assuring them of its consistency in delivering quality viewing experience across the country.
