Omobolanle Victor-Laniyan, Uwadoka, Oloruntoba to speak at BJAN’s 2025 Consumer Rights Day celebration

Renowned sustainability expert, Omobolanle Victor-Laniyan, CEO, Kratos Sustainability Consults, will deliver the keynote address at the 2025 World Consumer Rights Day (WCRD) celebration.

World Consumer Rights Day is celebrated every March 15 globally, to draw attention to the plight of the consumers.

Organised in Nigeria by Brand Journalists Association of Nigeria (BJAN) as part of its effort to join the rest of the global community to deepen discussions on issues affecting consumers with particular focus on the challenges of consumers in Nigeria.

The theme for this year’s celebration, “A just transition to sustainable lifestyles”, will hold March 14, 2025 at the Oriental Hotels, Lekki-Ajah Expressway, Lagos, by 10am.

It aimed at promoting sustainable lifestyles and raising awareness about consumer rights.

Guest discussants for the event include Victoria Uwadoka, Head Corporate Communications and Sustainability Lead, Nestle Nigeria; Bankole Oloruntoba, CEO, Climate Change Nigeria CIC, among other sustainability experts.

Chairman, Brand Journalists Association of Nigeria, Daniel Obi, said, “We are excited to have these industry leaders share their expertise with us. Their insights will be invaluable in promoting sustainable lifestyles and protecting consumer rights.”

The event is open to the public, and BJAN invites all interested individuals to attend and be part of the conversation on sustainable development and consumer rights.
