Trustlub Fluid Resources commissions lubricant blending plant
Unveils new products
Trust Lubricant Fluid Resources Limited, a company that engages in the production and distributions of lubricant in Nigeria has commissioned its new lubricant blending plant situated at New Makun City, along Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
Also unveiled along with the commissioning of the lubricant plant are new brand products for the distributors and the use of their customers.
Unveiling the new products alongside the commissioning of the new plant, Chairman, Trustlub Fluid Resources Limited, Alhaji Taiwo Mustapha said, Trustlub is poised to set standard with its ultra-modern lubricant plant and its new arrays of products to serve the general public.
He said the new plant and their lubricant products met all the regulatory standards adding, ”Our lubricants products are the best and equally setting the standard in the lubricant segments of the economy.” He promised that apart from their aim of covering the whole of the country, their products will soon be in larger West Africa region.
Also speaking, Managing Director of the lubricant company, Mr Babatunde Gaffar said, “with the new utra-modern lubricant with a well-equipped laboratory and a total installed capacity of 5,000 Metric Tons, the plant has the capacity to roll out 150,000 litres of blended products daily. We will install grease and brake fluid plants by December this year to cater for all ranges of lubricants. This multi-purpose lube blending plant will be the first of its kind among the indigenous lubricant blending plants in Nigeria.”
The managing Director said, Trustlub Fluid Resources Limited has been competing fairly with its competitors in the lubricant market. He said, “our product brand is one of the leading brands in our present area coverage consisting the entire Southwest and Kwara State.”
He said, “in order to remain competitive in the industry, we have ensured all our products meet the required standards set by the American Petroleum Institute (API), Society of Automobile Engineers (SAE) Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON), Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) and other regulatory bodies within and outside the shore of the country.”
He said regardless of several external factors influencing “our business operations, we remain resilient and dogged in the achievement of our corporate vison of becoming Nigeria’s reference in petroleum marketing company that will become a leader in the oil and gas sector of the country’s economy, and also recognised as one of the best in the full-stream petroleum industry.
“Consequently, we have over time, ensured these aspirations becomes our driving force, while equally reflecting the same in our decision-making processes, business operations as well as our relationship with our customers and other stakeholders. This same aspiration birthed the new blending plant we are commissioning today, as we believe it will go a long way in meeting our customers’ expectation of having high-quality products delivered timely at their doorsteps”
On the marketing aspect of the lubricant products, the Regional Marketing Manager, Linus Adamu said, their products have moved ahead of them to other regions of the country with numerous requests they have been receiving from distributors across the country. Adamu said that all their products have been certified by the regulators and described the lubricant products as sure-bet for their customers.
“We have designed our strategies for the distribution and sales of our products. Like in the six states of the Southwest including Kwara State that we are covering at present, we have strategic distributors in key areas and these distributors are also dealers in major brands. I can tell you conveniently now that Trustlub brands are competing fairly with most of the major brand in these territories which we have actively covered. We moved to our new blending plant to enable us to expand our capacity to satisfy our consumers more. The same strategies that have worked for us in the Southwest currently is the same strategies we will employ for other regions across the country.
He listed some of the lubricant products to include: Trust HD 40, Trust ATF, Trust 6000, Trust Gear, Trust AH 68 and many others.
