Loeries introduces 2022 Youth Committee

The Loeries is proud to announce a new cohort of Loeries Youth Committee members for 2022. Among them is a Nigerian, Faruq Alimi, a Senior Copywriter at Redwolf Digital Agency, Lagos.  The 2022 intake sees the formation of a committee that is comprised of twelve young professionals from the brand communications industry from across Africa and the Middle East.

The committee will be mentored by the Loeries Board with the goal of equipping them with the knowledge and experience required not only to be successful in their careers, but also to function as emerging leaders in the industry.

A key component of the programme is a challenge which will be issued to the committee. UN Women and Vodacom will lead the initiative to ensure that the committee has a task that both challenges their thinking while also allowing them to demonstrate their capabilities in conceptualising, creating and executing a campaign that adds value to the industry.

The Loeries Youth Committee 2022 members are:

Adam Tate (Wunderman Thompson, Mid-Integrated Strategist, Johannesburg)

Ahmed Abd El-Moneim (Creative Copywriter, Cairo)

Alexandra Kotchoubei (Topco Media, Marketing Executive, Cape Town)

Faruq Alimi (Redwolf Digital Agency, Senior Copywriter, Lagos)

Joey Gordon (Joe Public, Art Director Intern, Johannesburg)

The Loeries Youth Committee programme offers the members an invaluable experience for fellowship and extensive networking opportunities across the brand communications industry.
